Roll out for Rose!

This is Trevor and Sarah Wrights darling little Rose and she is 4 months old, she is as happy and curious as she ever was. Sometime around early February we noticed Rose just wasn't her happy self, and something was wrong. Around the 15th she was brought into OHSU emergency, and we have lived here in the pediatric intensive care unit ever since. Our little Rose has a very rare and severe heart condition called Dilated Cardiomyopathy. However, thanks to her dedicated team of doctors and specialists, with modern medicine and technology, coupled with an impressively stubborn will to live, Rosie has been given a second chance at life and is everyone's favorite patient. Currently there is just no knowing the cause, it could have been as simple as a viral infection to the heart or hereditary, which is being tested now at a lab in Texas. After about a dozen other tests and biopsies, we've been able to rule out anything much worse like neurological or systemic, which makes her a prime candidate for a new heart if/when that becomes necessary. Because of some incredible support from some truly selfless friends and family, we have not had to leave her side for a single moment since we arrived. Surviving off hospital coffee and better food than I ate before, thanks to folks like @thiswildlife_thisfreedom ,and his beautiful family @dutchthecorgi 's fuzzy family and others who breezed through like dinner phantoms. So selfless and caring, playing with spencer during the day and delivering meals or books for Rose, which has given us the opportunity to spend every moment getting Rose back to her old self, it has truly made a difference to her health, and I will always be grateful for that gift.
