Rosie Needs Rescuing

Hi, my name is Kris and I’m fundraising for my sister Rose. Two weeks ago Rose suffered an unfathomable tragedy. While out walking her dogs, they were attacked by two dogs running loose in the neighborhood. Her baby, Missy who was just 7 months old, was attacked first. While punching and kicking to save her life, her other dog that she was holding, Princess, became prey. In order to let go of Princess, the wild dog had to be tased. Sadly, Princess succumbed to her injuries that evening. The next day, after many tests and prayers, we thought Missy would be okay. Horrifically, that was not meant to be. That night she took a turn for the worst and suffered cardiac arrest after a traumatic lung injury, including multiple rib fractures from being shaken so violently.

I come here asking for help with medical expenses for someone that has dedicated her life to helping animals. You see, Rose has been a volunteer at the local animal shelter and has played a part in saving many, many furry lives. For more than 12 years, she has rescued so many in need and found them loving, caring homes. Now, it’s her that needs rescuing. The post traumatic stress this has caused has made a dramatic impact on all of our lives. She never asks for anything in return, but I feel it’s our turn to help Rose.

She always says “It never ends, there’s always another one that needs rescue!”

For now, Rose needs rescuing mentally and physically. She got lucky, so to speak, and

only suffered bruises in the struggle, but her heart aches for the two precious fur babies she lost that night. Any and all help would be much appreciated as the vet bills are soaring into the thousands of dollars!
