Rosie, a dog thrown in the river ❤️
Donation protected
Rosie’s story is an absolute shocking and heartbreaking one.
she was founds in the river (Edward quay Colchester) up to her neck stuck in the mud with the tide coming in. We believe she was thrown in
Rosie was rehomed by her owner, then passed from one home to the next, until someone left her to die a horrible death.
passers by spotted Rosie and acted quickly to pull her from the mud, we have been in contact with these people and are amazed to the bravery and courage putting their lives at risk to save Rosie from drowning.
Rosie is now under the joint care of Colchester k9 rescue and team ilbrey k9 partners. Both of which are working together to support Rosie medically, physically and emotionally and will look to find Rosie her happy ever after in time.
she’s currently in emergency boarding kennels where she needs time to decompress and recover from her horrific ordeal.
we will take Rosie to our vet team to have her medically evaluated and spayed, vaccinated and anything else she may need.
we have put this fund raiser together to help cover some of the costs for Rosie care whilst she’s in rescue. Your donations and support are always greatly appreciated and helps us to keep taking in dogs like Rosie and support them for the rest of their lives
