Rosie's back surgery and MRI

Hi. Our names are Michael and Claire. Our dog (child) Rosie who will be 5 this month has been through the mill Lately. She was always a energetic, playful dog and has Lots of love to give. She is our everything and has helped us alot to get through some hard times.

In October she started struggling with her breathing, she was in and out of vets/animal hospital until February 2022 they realised her breathing was laboured as she had been in pain. Further visits and bouts of pain the hospital has said her discs are bulging and her spine is compressed. She has been on strong medication for a few months now as well as crate rest for 8weeks. The hope was by now she would be able to come off her off the medication but sadly the pain is still very bad without it and now she requires an operation. if we wait for the operation and she deteriorated we would be unable to do the operation as her chance of survival drastically decreases. We want to give her the best chance of a quality of life.

Our baby is insured, however there is a limit that can be claimed in each policy year and sadly we have nearly used up our limit. The surgery and MRI together are around 7k, I have proof from the animal hospital if you wish to see this.

Thank you for taking the time to read. We understand times are difficult for everyone but would appreciate anything you can give as can't bear our baby being in pain and limited mobility. She really is our everything and we would not do this unless it was a last resort, and it makes me so sad that I even have to do this.
