Ross Brezovsky "Hymn Of Hope"

On behalf of our brother Ross Brezovsky and his family, we thank you for being here. As some of you may know, on July 21st, Ross was diagnosed with a rare condition called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei.
After experiencing inconsistent stomach pain for a few months, Ross went in for a routine physical and the Dr. recommended he get a CT scan. On his way home from work a day later, our lives were changed when he was told he had a tumor on his appendix. Being in Houston with the best cancer hospital in the nation, Ross tirelessly called the MD Anderson Cancer Center in hopes of being admitted as a patient, and on July 17th, our prayers were answered.
A new CT scan at the hospital revealed that what may have started as a tumor on his appendix has ruptured and spread to his liver, spleen, pelvis/bladder. 7/29/20 Today has not been the day we all hoped and prayed for. Ross went in for the laparoscopy early this morning and the procedure went smoothly. However, they were not able to remove the appendix or the mass on the appendix because it is attached firmly to the colon. The doctor came in after the surgery and broke a lot of difficult news to Ross. Dr. Scally said there is a lot more disease in his abdomen than they originally thought and could see on the CT scan. In addition to the large tumor on his appendix and the one in his pelvis, he has hundreds of small tumors lining his abdomen wall and other organs within the abdomen. They have categorized his condition as Stage 4. Although they have not yet been biopsied, the tumors seem to be pretty malignant and with the pure amount of cancerous material in his abdomen, they cannot perform surgery at this time. Therefore, the plan is to start chemotherapy right away with the goal of shrinking the tumors and killing off a lot of the disease so that he could potentially be in a position to have the huge surgery in the future. The chemotherapy would be heavy doses and would be scheduled for about 6 months of treatment before they would reevaluate the possibility of surgery. We need prayers. Lots of them. Please. .
Your generosity can help lighten the load, so that he can focus on fighting. Your kind donation will go directly to Ross and Kim to help with the financial repercussions of his current condition, so that they can focus on healing and supporting one another.
Thank you all for being a part of this with us. Ross and Kim feel your love and prayers, and continue to be inspired by your support. We are all on his team!
