Ross get to the LEAD conference in Seattle
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Ross Edelstein. I'm a leading expert in autism in cultural spaces, and since 2021, I've been a part of the Kennedy Center's Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability Conference's Foundations series, and a repeat speaker at the conference. Last year, I won their Emerging Leader award, for the work that I do supporting Autistic folks in cultural spaces.
I'm also Autistic.
This makes travel difficult. Do I love it? Yes! But it means it can be more expensive on time, money, and other resources. I'm setting up this fundraiser to help make it so I can afford to travel to Seattle in August without breaking the bank.
You, the public, aren't the only place I'm going. I've applied for scholarships and attempted to gather resources through other means via work, but prices will rise. Considering I'm traveling to this conference from Indianapolis, it'll be expensive no matter how I slice it. That's why I'm asking for your help to make this possible. Anything helps - the fundraising amount is set to the price for the hotel, but whether it's made or not, it'll help make it so I can not just attend the conference, but help educate others on autism, ADHD, misophonia, dyscalculia, and other disabilities, neurodivergent or otherwise.
Thanks for reading. I appreciate your time and consideration, and regardless hope that even if you can't help here, make someone else's day a little brighter.
I want to make a note here - if for whatever reason other sources (i.e. work or partners) provide funding, all donors would be refunded. This is a call for mutual aid, not profit.
