Ross On Wye Cancer Support Group

We are small group of volunteers, providing support to those local people affected by Cancer.

We badly need to grow group membership by being more inclusive. Meeting face to face once a month at a pre-set time excludes many potential members. Therefore we need to grow a virtual group by offering a website and greater media presence which would provide the opportunity for people to join as and when they can, and obtain information, help and support as and when they need, accepting that people will join and leave our group over time as their particular needs are satisfied to the extent that our present and future group can offer.

We need also to have in our group “management structure” people with complementary skills particularly on the technical communications side to get the virtual side of our group set up, running and monitored effectively and efficiently, at least until it is set up
