Unfortunately due to unforseeable circumstances (the weather forecast) some of the planned activities for the day were unable to go ahead for health and safety reasons. 2020 will see the second year of the now annual event on Saturday August 15th! We are hoping for an even better turn out and to make the day bigger and better.
However, when everything is taken into account pride is expensive to run. There’s costs in everything, the staging, paying the performers, advertising and so much more.
To make this event better than our first year we need more funding than last time. With more time to plan we are putting on several fundraisers throughout the year and advertising in the town.
