Rosslyn Park Netball Club Move-a-thon!!

Donation protected
Here at RPNC we're 'moving' this International Women's Day to raise money to tackle public sexual harassment in sports, an issue close to our hearts.

For 4 weeks leading up to March 8th each member of our club will 'move' - run, walk, cycle or swim - 97 miles, raising awareness of the fact that 97% of women aged 18-24 in the UK have experienced a form of public sexual harassment in a public place.

We're raising money for Our Streets Now, a social enterprise working to end Public Sexual Harassment in the UK through cultural and legislative change. OSN are running a campaign to tackle sexual harassment in sports - working towards a vision of a society where women, girls and people of marginalised genders can participate in sport free from public sexual harassment. From working out in gyms, to running on the streets and from the grassroots to the elite, we deserve to feel safe and be safe in public space. The sports industry must be equipped to challenge harassment, oppression and prejudice and athletes need to step up to be better bystanders, to support those who experience it and to never become perpetrators of this everyday violence. OSN are fundraising to run workshops with athletes, provide training and resources to gyms and leisure centres and deliver a public awareness campaign aimed at perpetrators and bystanders.

We would appreciate any support you can give us!
