Ross's Cancer Battle

As many of you know, my brother, Ross Inselman, was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer on June 23rd, and although the prognosis/goal is a cure, it has nonetheless been life-altering. By the grace of God, he was able to get into the Mayo Clinic and a care plan was in place within days. We are all very thankful the tumor has remained localized; however, due to its size, it has created additional challenges. Starting Wednesday, Ross will undergo 4-6 of the total 12 rounds of chemotherapy before getting rescanned in late September/early October. At that point, the hope is that the tumor will have shrunk to a size that is safe for removal, then resuming chemo once he's recovered from surgery.

With all this, Ross not only started an amazing new job a few months ago, but he and his wife, Bridget, just moved into their first home. Despite the upward battle ahead, Ross' goal was to continue working throughout his treatment, but due to some unforeseen challenges, he's been unable to work since his diagnosis.

Cancer doesn't care where you are in life. It doesn't care that you just bought your first home. It doesn't care that you haven't even celebrated your first anniversary. But little does cancer know, it messed with the wrong person.

Asking for help is never easy, but no one is ever meant to go through life alone. It takes a village and our hope is to create some peace of mind from the financial challenges now and in the days and months ahead. The purpose of these funds is to replace Ross's lost income and cover medical /life expenses as they arise. I hope that with your support, we will be able to bless Ross and his family abundantly.
