Rotherham Town Brass Band Need Your Help!!!

Today we received a call from the police to let us know that some scrotes broke into the St James church in East Dean, Rotherham. They have smashed up the church and have stolen musical instruments / destroyed music used and owned by the Rotherham Town Brass Band.

The band is run by my wonderful brother in law who is heart broken. The instruments stolen meant a-lot to the band as they included instruments that were handed down from fathers to sons and from mothers to daughters, so the thieving little toe rags not only stole valuable items but many irreplaceable items in the hearts of the band members and sheets of music.

As you can imagine not everything was insured so the outcome of this crappy event is the band will no longer be able to play or fulfil the promises and bookings they had in place for 2022.

So we are calling out to all you amazing people in Yorkshire to help!

If anyone has any of instruments that are listed below and are not using them we would be so grateful to make a home for them with us.

If you are ever in Rotherham or Sheffield centre at Christmas and see the brass band playing in the square! That’s these guys, they are there every year for you all to enjoy the spirit of Christmas ,so if you could be there for us today then we would be so grateful for the support.
