Rottnest Swim for Rhino Conservation

Hello everyone,

We are the Four Horns Swim Club, a passionate group of veterinary students from Perth, Western Australia, dedicated to preserving wildlife and protecting endangered species. Our mission? To make a splash for rhino conservation in Africa by swimming to Rottnest Island.

Rhinos are on the brink of extinction due to poaching and habitat loss. These magnificent creatures, once plentiful across the African savannahs, are now critically endangered. As future veterinarians, it is important for us to raise awareness for conservation.

In February of 2025, we will embark on an ambitious swim to Rottnest Island, a distance of 19.7km, to raise funds and awareness for rhino conservation efforts. 90% of funds raised will go directly to organizations on the ground in Africa that work tirelessly to protect rhinos from poachers and ensure their habitats are preserved. The remaining 10% will help us cover the entry cost to the Rottnest swim.
