Scotty's Fight Against Testicular Cancer

My partner, Scott, was diagnosed with testicular cancer back in May 2023; not one, but both testicles had two different types of cancer. In response to this, both of Scott's testicles were removed, prosthetic ones put in place and he immediately started a manual testosterone absorption treatment in just a few months. His recent 3-month CT scan follow up, however, showed that some cancer has spread to his lymph nodes near the kidneys and will require 9 weeks of Chemotherapy starting October 9, 2023. The prognosis is a very positive one, but Scott will likely be unable to work during treatment given the industry he is in (unfortunately, he does not get any kind of PTO).

To give a little background, Scotty and I met on a social app back in 2020 during COVID-19 lockdown. Scotty, being a native of Melbourne, AU and me, a USA native, mantained a long distance relationship for 2 solid years during lockdown - sending each other git boxes with presents from our countries to one another, having movie and dinner date nights via FaceTime, etc. In February 2023, Scotty and I finally got to meet face to face in Hawaii (profile pic) to put our true chemistry to the test. Since then, he has made trips to the US, me down to Australia and even over to England as part of our vacation-meetup adventures. We have officially been partners for over 3 years now and plan to continue our world travels once we get over this bump in the road. Coexisting is our ultimate goal when we are able to figure out the easiest visa solution between the two of us.

I am whole-heartedly asking for help to make Scott's journey through this insanely scary time a little less stressful, at least financially. Scotty is an incredible human being that will put a complete stranger's needs before his own. He has such a strong community of friends and family and deserves the smoothest journey that we can provide him through this! I have booked a flight to go down to Australia to be with him for 3 of these 9 weeks and would like to have enough funds raised to cover any living expenses for him before I leave (10/19/23).
