Rourkie's Recovery

As Brian’s sister-in-law I have created this GoFundMe page after the tragic incident that took place shortly after the QPR v Luton Town Championship match on Friday 19th November 2021.

As you all know, Brian and his family are loyal Luton Town supporters and he is known to many people near and far as being a lovable, generous character, who will be there in a shot to support others. We have had many enquiries over the past few days on how this can be reciprocated and how you can support the family during this difficult time.

Brian sustained a traumatic brain injury after the game ended when he was seriously assaulted in Uxbridge Road, London, on his return to the train station. Although we would love to give you an update on Brian’s condition, there currently has been no change and remains seriously ill with medical assistance.

The family want to express their sincere gratitude for all the love and support they have received over the past week, and it really goes to show how loved Brian is by all.

At this stage the medics cannot confirm a long-term outcome, and any funds raised will go to supporting Brian and the family where required.
