The Rovere family lost their home in the thunderstorm that hit the Decatur / Avondale area on June 11, 2018. An arborist determined that the uprooting of the tree, that fell on their home, was due to a tornado.
The tree caused the ceiling to collapse on their daughter (Izzy) who was lying on the sofa. Thankfully, she received minor injuries and is recovering.
The funds will be used to replace furniture, household items, clothing, and any other items lost in this tragic event.
