Hi My name is Ailish Schutz. I am fundraising for my friend Roxana Castillo. She needs help to jumpstart her life after an extended time of caring for her 100year old mother who passed a month ago.

The aftermath of constantly caring for her mother has left her with few resources to begin her life anew at the age of 75.

She needs to find a new living situation within the next month and move from the apartment that she shared with her mom which was possible because of their combined social security checks. She now must leave that apartment and move to a place where she can sustain herself.

Her estimated needs are moving expenses, $800. $2500.00, first, month, last month and deposit on a studio apartment or shared housing that needs to be maximum of $ 1,000. a month. She needs $500 for car repairs on her 1998 Toyota RAV4.

I have known Roxana for 21 years. She helped care for my husband in his final year of life and she has been a friend ever since.
