I recently got diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer stage 3b. It moves fast. I'm trying to move faster.

 

After a decade or more of being an organic urban farmer, fighting through the Flint water crisis, making it through 2 years of a global pandemic without getting my self or family sick, and numerous other social justice obstacles, it seems fitting the universe would fill my plate with a heap of cancer.

 

Anyway, I'm self employed doing manual labor and that just isn't going to work with the treatments I am about to embark on. I'm gonna need some community care in order to maintain a life to fight for.

 

My most urgent need is a well. I've been working like a mad woman the last few months in order to replace my well that has been slowly drying up since Christmas. I'm about halfway to being able to drill. I physically won't be able to get the rest of the way there.

 

Regular household bills, and added cancer treatment costs are coming up quickly. Honestly, my brain hasn't fully processed those yet.

 

Going one day at a time and today, this is how I need help. If you know me, I'm sure you know I'm uncomfortable asking for it.
