Sponsor Roxbourne's 260 Pupils String Programme!

Our school provides a groundbreaking violin programme to all pupils in Yr 3 - Yr 6 (260 pupils). It involves dedicating over £70,000 annually towards our violin programme, where every child in Yr 3 upwards recieves all the equipment they need, recieves small group tuition and later in the programme (in Yr 5 and Yr 6) takes part in weekly orchestra practice.

We know of only two other schools in the country who deliver such a programme. When we delivery such a visionary programme at zero cost to pupils, it means all pupils recieve a rigourous music and strings education regardless of background, and in doing so, we are able to create one true music community.

We therefore extend a special invitation to help us raise some funds you in becoming the driving force behind the success of Roxbourne Primary School's Strings Programme!

Your support will directly fund:

- New Violins (approx £100 per violin) and violin maintenance. Total £7,500

- Equipment: Rosin, Shoulder Rests, Stands and Music Booklets. Total: £2,500

- Weekly Small Group Violin Tuition (for 260 pupils). Total: £52,000

- Weekly Orchestra Practice for all pupils in Y5 and Y6 (120 pupils). Total: £4,550
