Roy Payne Jr.
Donation protected
I’ve thought a lot about this fundraiser and decided to take the initiative to help my nephew, Roy Payne Jr. Roy has struggled with addiction and been in and out of jail and prison for many years. He is 47. I’ve been praying for him that God would give him a way to a new life free of the burdens he’s been carrying. Perhaps part of the answer came when he was hit by a Lincoln Navigator at Christmas and nearly died. God mercifully spared him. His Dad, my brother Roy, and his Mom, Patti Ann Moore, rallied to his side. He has recovered remarkably well. He’s getting used to the prosthetic leg that was custom made for him, and is waiting for disability to be granted. He’s is dire straights living in an old leaky motor home on his Dad’s farm, fixing rototillers and planting watermelon seeds to grow a cash crop. Your merciful contributions will be channeled through my brother, his Dad. Whether you give or not, please pray for Roy Jr. that he will be spared temptation toward any addictive behavior. I can’t guarantee any thing but we can hope and pray. My goal is $2500 to help him bridge the gap and cover some short term expenses right now.
