Roy Yamane Surgery Recovery
Donation protected
Hey everyone,
Our family doesn't usually ask for help, but recently our father Roy has been in the hospital for a month. He had to go in for emergency surgery for a life threatening esophagus rupture. The doctor said it was the worst rupture he has ever seen which was the size of a golf ball and was sceptic.
Our father Roy started recovery a week later, but his esophagus ruptured again and they had to go in for an Esophageal Diversion surgery. They had to remove his esophagus and divert it to his chest. Then the doctor had to place a feeding tube in his stomach.
The Doctor has said my father will be in rehab from surgery for up to a year so they can go back in for another surgery to raise his stomach to replace his esophagus and be able to eat normally again.
This will also affect his work and put him out of work for the same amount of time.
If you have a willing and giving heart, we will be using these funds and donations, to help pay his surgeries and to help out with his recovery at home.
Thoughts, Prayers and Best Wishes will also be gladly appreciated and welcomed. Thank you very much and Plenty of aloha your way.
