On Wednesday 18th June, I’ll be running the Lisburn 10KM to raise funds for the Royal Hillsborough Protestant Boys Flute Band.
This isn’t just a personal challenge – it’s a chance to support a band that’s been a proud part of our culture and community for many years. The Royal Hillsborough Protestant Boys are more than just music; they represent tradition, discipline, teamwork, and community spirit. The band gives people of all ages a place to belong, learn, and grow – both musically and personally.
The money raised will go towards vital expenses such as new instruments, uniforms, transportation, practice facilities, and keeping the band active in local events and parades throughout the year. These things don’t come cheap, and every penny raised will go directly to supporting the band’s future.
If you’re able to sponsor me – no matter how big or small – it would mean a lot to me, and even more to the band.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support!
