Royal Marines Atlantic row

Donation protected
⦁ The Cockleshell Endeavor, named after Blondie Hasler's famous Cockleshell Heroes, aims to use water-based endurance sport to help Royal Marine veterans who are struggling with mental and physical injuries to regain personal equilibrium. It was started by one of the world's most experienced ocean rowers and Royal Marines Falklands veteran, Mick Dawson, and has already supported ocean crossings, sea kayaking around the Falklands and the 715 km Yukon River Quest, to name a few. The success it has had with traumatized veterans is well-known. Mixed crews of serving and past Royal Marines is a key ingredient in this effort, and it seems to work.
⦁ We have completed our ocean row after working together fighting tooth and nail to get the boat to the start line, working together to make this happen, followed by the small matter of crossing the Atlantic. We’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who’s helped us along the way and to remind anyone who’s still considering a donation that we’re still accepting money - 100% of which will go directly to the RM charity, supporting their incredible efforts giving aid directly to where it’s most needed.
