Royal Parks Half Marathon 2024

On Sunday 13th October I will running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for the 2nd time. I was very lucky to receive a ballot place, and was very excited to take on the challenge of that distance again, having not run a half for around 1.5yrs. However in March - I had a huge set back with my running mojo & had to start again from scratch. I have embarked on a 13 week beginners training plan, completed a few of the longer runs on my own & may just may be ready for the start line.

I have decided to raise a little bit of £s for a cause close to my heart - the PADUA ward at WWH especially for their Xmas appeal for toys for poorly children that have to remain in hospital over the Xmas period - bringing them some magic & joy. The PADUA ward have been a huge part of my amazingly strong godson's journey - he attends for regular ivig, medical appointments & treatments. Himself & his incredible family have seen 1st hand what WHH do for poorly children - especially during the festive season and I would absolutely love and appreciate if I can get a few sponsors however small to go towards the WHH appeal. ....every £ will help.
