Royal Scot! SAVE BOWLING IN LANSING!!
Because of the pandemic, smaller
businesses are being forced to close
down, “temporarily “ For the 2nd time
this year, Royal Scot is facing another
“shut down” and now, an unforeseen
future. If they are forced to close down
again, there may not be a “next time”. For more than 40 years Royal Scot has
offered competitive leagues for all ages
and skill sets. In these times of
uncertainty, myself and many others feel it is time to do what we can to help save
bowling in Lansing. Too many others
have closed and disappeared! Besides it being “our “ local bowling establishment, it’s also the livlihood for a FEW local
families; Starting with Todd Kwiecien
and all the Kwiecien family members
pouring their blood, sweat and tears into making sure we have a place to call home here in Lansing. All the way to the back
where mechanic Greg Robinson helps
keep the machines up and running for us right to the front door where Mr K’s Pro-Shop and Mr Dave Spohn are located to
help you with all your bowling needs
from advice, to brand new equipment!
We need to spread the word that for us
it’s time to do what we can not only to
save Lansing’s last “big” bowling alley,
but to come together as friends and a
community to help save many families
and a legacy.
(On a personal note, I first bowled here
in Jr leagues back in the early 1980’s and even bowled in two Jr Pro-AMs with the
likes of Earl Anthony, Dick Weber,
Nelson Burton Jr, Mark Roth, Guppy
Troup, Wayne Webb, and many more!!)
So, please, do what you can to help save
the livelihoods of the small business man as well as all the families they support by
employing a small army to make it run
smooth... not only for the winter bowling
leagues, but, also the beautiful 27 holes
of golf in the summer..
THANK YOU ALL!!
