Royce Jankowski Medical and Living Expenses
Royce was involved in a fire in his home resulting in 2nd degree burns over 34% of his body. He was brought to the Lisbon hospital for immediate care after the injury and was then transferred by flight to Regions Hospital in Minneapolis. Royce has a long road to recovery and we are currently unsure of what this will entail. His mother, Shelby Jankowski is an EMR with Enderlin First Responders and First Medic Ambulance in Lisbon. Shelby is a close friend and valued member of our EMS family.
Royce loves Paw Patrol and is enamored with his sisters. This two-year-old boy has the brightest pale blue eyes that melt your heart. He is inquisitive, energetic and a bundle of energy.
Currently, Royce is undergoing treatment for these burns. A few estimates are that he will be in the hospital undergoing treatment for 8 - 12 weeks, including skin grafts on one, if not both of his arms and hands. His parents are temporarily relocating to the Minneapolis area to be close to their little boy. They will not have any income at this point in time and we need YOUR HELP to allow them to focus on Royce's recovery. Any amount is appreciated. This money is being used for a real life local family to care for an innocent child who has undergone a horrific injury. Let's show this little boy that he has all of us pulling for him.
Any non-financial contributions, i.e. clothing, toys, household needs, can be dropped off at the First Medic Ambulance garage at 1100 Oak St. in Lisbon, ND.
Update: Carla Morrison, Shelby's mother, will be the person withdrawing the funds and giving them to Shebly & family.
