Royce’s Recovery

Hi, my name is Paige, and I am the younger sister of Andre, sister in law of Joe, and dog auntie to a very good boy named Royce. To say that Andre and Joe are fantastic dog dads would be an absolute understatement. Andre, Joe and Royce are a family of three, with a bond and love that is so special. Royce’s life has been rich with love, and he sure knows how to reciprocate it!

Sadly, on July 5th, Andre and Joe were informed that Royce had been diagnosed with bone cancer in his leg. Through extensive testing, it was determined that while the cancer had not spread, the cancer was spreading quickly. With little time to prepare, Andre and Joe made the decision to amputate Royce’s leg, as he is still in fantastic, energetic health, and just turned merely 8 years old. This procedure was costly and as you can imagine, heartbreaking.

Now, Andre and Joe are focusing on helping Royce heal, while gathering new tools to provide him with a comfortable, joy filled life i.e., an XXL stroller, an all organic diet, supplements, physical therapy toys, aquatic therapy, probiotic ice creams for him to enjoy, etc.

While Andre and Joe have not asked for financial help, our family is stepping in to ask for them, and for Royce. A contribution of any size, a share, and/or healing thoughts and prayers would be so incredibly appreciated.
