Royce's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Royce Tillman, 19, of Atlanta, GA, was involved in a tragic jet-skiing accident on Saturday, July 29th, near Tampa, Florida, where he resides and attends college. A wave knocked him off his jet ski when another person operating another jet ski, unknowingly ran Royce over. He suffered a broken nose and many facial fractures. He had severe brain bleeding, which the surgeons were able to stop. Royce is conscious and able to speak, but can only breathe through his mouth, due to his injuries. He has a long road to recovery, but the family is grateful for all the prayers from friends, loved ones and all those with compassion in their hearts. We wanted to create a financial platform for those who are touched by this tragedy and have the desire to join us by contributing ANY financial blessing, as we continue to pray and have faith that God will see Royce through to his full recovery. His parents, immediately traveled to Tampa to be by his side. They are emotionally thankful that their son is alive and fighting. By God’s grace, Royce will be 20 years old on August 8th.
To lessen the overwhelming financial burden to which Royce’s medical expenses and ongoing treatments are surmounting, we humbly ask for your support. The financial resources raised from this GoFundMe account will go directly to Royce’s care.
Throughout the short tenure of this entire ordeal, Royce has been extremely humble, telling his mom Susan that he’s sorry she had to see him this way and leave Missouri to come see about him. But my Lord. What mother wouldn’t?! As a young child to a young man, he is loving, tender, resilient and determined. In his heart and mind, he put his mom and family before himself, thinking of his mom going back to work as an elementary school teacher, his little sister starting a new school year, his stepdad processing the imminent future of a terminally ill parent and now his own tragic situation One can only imagine the toll this is taking on him not only physically, but mentally and emotionally right now.
This is a gift to Royce and a surprise blessing for his mother Susan. Your financial gifts will be used to help pay for Royce’s medical bills and expenses incurred, as he recovers from this major, life-altering event. No donation amount is too small, to help a young man with a heart so humble yet so large. The family is extremely grateful for your prayers, thoughts, kind gestures, encouragement and your support during this challenging time. Please pray, and continue to pray, for Royce, his parents, grandparents, his little sister, friends and the entire family. Please wrap them in your arms of love.
With love and hope, we humbly ask you to share Royce’s journey. We are all hoping for the very best outcome for Royce and praying for continued daily miracles, on his path to healing. Thank you in advance and God bless.
