Rozlynn's Story

Hello, friends of Rozlynn! My name is Jess, and I'm Rozlynn's mom! Roz's story is long, and it has been a very long road! This is difficult for me to write, but wanted to share her story. If this reaches you, then you should also know we are a family that believes in making it happen and not having to ask for help from others.
Roz was born exactly on her due date via emergency c-section. She was showing signs of distress and my physician noticed an abnormality with my placenta - I had placenta abruptio, and the doctors got Roz out just in time. She was seemingly healthy and ready to face the world! Like normal parents, we kept her close and couldn't take our eyes off of her! Everyone she met boasted about how she was so alert and wise for being so little.
Shortly after her birth, we started to notice what we considered small medical issues. These were brushed off month after month; well child check after well child check. As of right now, she will need orthotic braces (that will need to be replaced as she grows and our insurance will not cover), in addition to multiple specialist doctor appointments in the future. Like I said, her story is a long one, so I will post the whole story in the updates section if you'd like to know the long road she is on.
We are raising money to help our daughter get the devices she needs to help her be successful. If you are able to give, we gratefully appreciate it. Every little bit counts! More than anything, we ask that you keep Roz in your prayers. She has already moved mountains in the short amount of time that she's been receiving services and seeing specialists. We can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
