Helping a family in need

Hi! My name is Ashley and I am trying to raise money to help one of my friends who is in serious need right now.

She is a custodian and a single mom of two twin 16 year olds. Things have gotten really difficult for her lately with medical bills piling up for herself and the boys and a car that broke down on the side of the road that needs a completely new transmission, which will cost her 7,000 that she doesn't have.

She is a great friend and a hard worker. Despite her challenges, she has found rides to work with her neighbor since she can't afford to fix her car. She doesn't have good enough credit to get a credit card or loan to help and with Christmas coming up, she's nervous about not being able to get her kids any gifts.
