Ángel’s Top Surgery

Hello everyone! My name is Ángel and I’m a trans masculine Latino living in south-central Texas.

I’ve reached the point in my transition where I am finally ready for top surgery (I am especially ready to not wear a compression garment during 100+ degree weather!) However, the surgeons in my area do not take my insurance and I must pay out of pocket.

I’ve been quoted $7500 for the entire surgery and aftercare. In addition, I will be unable to work for at least a week, and will have to stay at a hotel the first few days since the surgeon is a 5 hour drive from me. Because of this, I’ve added an extra $1k to my goal.

All funds will go towards my surgery and the first week or two of recovery, after which I should be able to return to work.

I am a freelancer and do not make a lot of income to begin with, so your help is extremely appreciated!
