Ryan’s Road To Recovery

Last week, Ryan started feeling some pain in his chest. He assumed, at first, it was just heart burn, but then the pain started getting worse and going down his arm. He went to the hospital and discovered he was having a heart attack. It lasted 5 hours and he has some damage to the heart.

After being transferred to another hospital, they found that he had 2 significant clots in the biggest artery in his heart. Upon further testing, they also found a hole in his heart. Luckily, that hole does not need to be repaired at this time.

He will have another echo in a couple of weeks to see if the remaining clot has resolved itself and that his heart functions are back to working normally.

As most of you know, Ryan and Maritza just had baby Nathaniel. He is a little over 2 months old now and we all know how expensive our babes can be.

Being the primary earner of the family and not being able to be at work has caused quite a bit of stress, as I’m sure you could all imagine. He is being discharged today, but he is not allowed to lift anything and will miss at least another week of work. He will be on 7 different medications that will be pricey as well.

We are asking for help from our friends and family! Anything you can offer right now would be amazing. Meals, diapers, money for bills, etc.. Prayers would also be appreciated for a speedy recovery with no further complications.
