R&R 2022: Renewal, Resistance, and Revival

Retreat + Reimagine (R+R) is an initiative born out of the pandemic and 2020 uprisings. It is a year-long fellowship to cultivate collective respite for community-connected Black transwomen, Black non-binary folx, & Black cis women living in Los Angeles who serve as change agents in transformative movements. The anchor of the fellowship is a free, trauma-informed retreat to cultivate & embody rest, stillness, & imagination as necessary practices to create the future we want to see. During and following the retreat, we provide 1-on-1 coaching support for change agents to assist them in incorporating new values into daily lives & work. One of the core values of R+R is to keep this space free of charge for all attendees. That also means providing stipends for childcare and time off, when funds allow.
