Let us introduce ourselves. We are Marten Rozema (18) & Twan Thio (18) from The Hague, The Netherlands and we're planning to kick 2017 off with a 3,000km pan-Indian adventure in a 7 horsepower glorified lawnmower. Confused? Let us explain.
THE RICKSHAW RUN
We're going to participate in a charity event called The Rickshaw Run organised by The Adventurists. The Rickshaw Run is a race across the whole length of India in an auto-rickshaw (better known as Tuk-Tuk). The goal is to, no matter how, get from Kochi to Jaisalmer in under only 2 weeks. By now you're probably wondering if this is even possible. Well, to be completely honest, we're wondering the same thing.
WHY WE NEED YOU
We won't be risking our lives for our own fun (maybe just a little), but for the well being of others. By entering the Run we've set our goal to raise at least €1500,- for 2 different charities: Cool Earth & Make A Difference.

OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF
- The Rickshaw Run takes place from January 1st - January 15th and our fundraising page closes when the race is finished.
- Everyone who donates €50,- or more will go down in Indian history by being painted on our beloved rickshaw!
- We'll be documenting our whole adventure on photo (Algemeen Dagblad) and video (Youtube), so look forward to that!
