Many of you know Dylan and are aware of the traumatic brain injury he sustained on 6/2/19. While the odds were stacked heavily against survival, we are thankful that our God "defies odds" all the time. Thru amazing prayers from many of you we are able to say eight weeks later that the Lord has an amazing future planned for him. We give all the thanks and praise to Him for providing Dylan with a second chance at life. We have been reminded how precious the gift of life is and we want to thank you for your prayers.
The surgeons and medical staff at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital have been amazing. Their care and recovery teams have helped so much and we couldn't have asked for more.
Many of you have helped financially already and we are very thankful. There have been many who have wanted to help but up to this point were not sure of the best way to go about doing so. Our family feels the time is now right to give you that opportunity.
We have started this page to allow you to bless Dylan, who thankfully had his group health insurance at his job start approximately 30 days prior to 6/2. As you can imagine, the costs he will incur just in deductible and coinsurance alone will be significant. In addition, Kathy has been there by Dylan’s side the entire time and that means lodging, meals and gas. We would like to set a goal of $2500 to help with this matter. Please pray about it and whatever you feel led to do would be most appreciated.
Dylan looks forward to telling you his story in the coming months and personally sharing his journey with you.
Thank you.
