Support for the Chopek Family

In June, Jason travelled to Montreal for a medical procedure with the hope that, if successful, he could return to the workplace. During the procedure a medical error was made, causing a significant stroke resulting in massive brain damage.

Jason's wife and mother flew out to Montreal to be by his side while other family members came together to care for his two young children, ages 7 and 3.

In the following 3 weeks in Montreal ICU, Jason's condition had not improved, and he was recently transported back to Winnipeg ICU to be closer to more family and friends as the prognosis is not favourable.

Jason is a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He cared deeply for his loved ones and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
