Cross the Country

Hi there,

My name is Stephen,

And on the 14th August I will begin my 548km walk from Malin Head to Mizen Head. This is to raise funds for the Southern Area Hospice who provided wonderful care to my Mom and Dad just before he passed away last year. I have picked this walk for a few reasons 1: I’ve always wanted to do it. 2: Ireland was my Dad’s favourite place to travel in and it was the last memorable holiday Mom & Dad did doing the Wild Atlantic Way in 2021 starting at Malin Head and finishing in Mizen Head 3: My Dad had a great love for our local GAA team Crossmaglen Rangers and they kindly presented me with a jersey which I intend to wear on my travels and hope to get as many photographs at all the local GAA clubs on route. The counties I will travel through are Donegal, Derry, Tyrone, Fermanagh, Cavan, Leitrim, Longford, Kilkenny, Westmeath, Offaly, Tipperary, Limerick and Cork.
