Help maintain the Bethlehem Animal Shelter
Donation protected
Our shelter is located in Bethlehem in the Palestinian territories of the West Bank, and provides a home for about 70 dogs and dozens of cats.
In addition, lots of our rescued puppies live in foster families, where they receive basic training and socialization, this makes it possible to find adoption homes.
Every day we get severe cases of injured, poisoned, hitted by cars animals that without our help would have been dying in agony.
See this month's rescues bellow
Our organization is run by volunteers and we have only one worker who takes care of the animals in the shelter every day.
Our shelter is not funded by authorities and is not supported by organizations, and we rely solely on donations. Also authorities do not provide alternative shelters and our shelter is the only solution for stray animals in the Bethlehem area.
Watch Dr. Karen Becker's interview with Diana Babish.
The monthly cost of operating the shelter is about 7,500 $. We need this amount every month to pay food suppliers, veterinary clinics, fuel, current bills...
Today we only manage to get 1500 $ a month so we get into debts. The situation does not allow us to continue to rescue more animals and fund existing animals. We need your help!
