The Courage Home

When my 12 old son Braeden, came out last February, he had the full support of his family and friends and still got low enough to contemplate suicide. The last Year has transformed him into a confident, happy kid who is mature and wise beyond his years. It took a team of special people to  make that happen.  We have gotten so much recognition and publicity from our story, but there needs to be a bigger purpose for it. The purpose for me is easy. Help those who don't have supportive families and games held in their honor.  Every one of them is just as important as Braeden. My goal is to provide emergency and transitional housing for homeless LGBT youth. 54% of homeless youth in Philadelphia are LGBT!! These are resilient kids who have bright futures.
