Help for Iris

As many of you know, my beautiful sister Iris has been fighting a very tough battle with colon cancer for over a year now. We thought she had beat it, but the monster returned. Now she has completed a second, more brutal round of chemo, which will be followed by surgery to remove the mass from her liver. This surgery will take place on January 14, 2021. She will be there for at least a week in recovery and out of work for 6 weeks recovering. That surgery will take place at a hospital in Tampa, three hours away from her home. This means her daughter and Iris’s friend that is going with to help care for Iris post-surgery will need a place to stay. Normally the hospital has a hotel they contract with for cheaper rates for patients, but it is closed due to Covid-19. They will now have to find a different hotel and the rates are looking like they will be awfully expensive. I am setting up this Go Fund Me in the hopes that we can help offset the cost of the hotel, food, and fuel for the trip over to Tampa. Every little bit will help.
