RTBJFC is a well-known grassroots club in the area of Ebbw Vale and provides football to all children ages 4-16. We are non-profit and totally volunteer run and we are extremely proud of what we achieved.
This evening (5.2.23) we discovered that our pitch at Betterment Park, Cwm had been vandalized by people on pit bikes, quad bikes racing around on our field, as a club we were devastated by the damage left especially since our children now have no pitch to play on as a result of the selfish actions of a few people.
We are seeking any help possible to help repair our field and hopefully, we can also raise enough to also add security to stop things like this in the future.
No matter how small any support or donation received is greatly appreciated. The money raised will go to hiring the ground maintenance and any equipment needed if we achieve this with any additional funds we would like to be able to add much-needed security to prevent events from happening again.
The police are now investigating the matter and if you or someone has any information regarding the incident they ask you come forward.
