Who we're supporting...

At St Mina Children's Home in Nadi in Fiji, there are 24 beautiful children aged 1 year to 18 years old. Many have been abandoned, abused or have come from poverty-stricken homes.

What's next for 2024...

Our small family loved the experience in Fiji and has felt God calling us to serve for longer. So we will be relocating to Nadi to serve the home for 2024 and during our time, we aim to build more self-sustaining projects for the home to stand on its own two feet rather than rely on donations in the long-run.

2024 Sustainability Projects:

Jewellery making | $1000 | January - onwards

So many of the children and community are great with their hands. So by investing in some good quality materials, they can start making jewellery and handcrafts to sell at the local markets, to tourists and at hotels. This helps the children understand the concept of entrepreneurship and business as well as start saving for their future.

Campsite for Volunteers | $20,000 | Jan - Apr '24

To create a glamping site to accommodate for international volunteer guests and provide long term income for St Mina Children’s home. Campsite will be available for volunteers from April '24, Project Pamphlet here.

Multi-purpose Court | $20,000 | Jan - Apr '24

To build a multi-purpose court in Legalega to be made available for the children from the home, for the local Coptic Community and for guests.

Farm & Church Refurbishing | $30,000 | Apr - Jul '24

To utilise the existing 22 acres in Nadi and refurbish St Rawis Church, the Farm House and start a chicken farming project.

Charity supporting us...

All your donations go through St Wanas Kids Charity, who pass on the funds as we require them on the ground. All donations are tax-deductible and receive a tax-receipt upon donating. All expenditure is recorded and receipts are provided back to St Wanas Kids Charity.
