Rubel Ramos Gomez

A shot that took his life...

On July 17th, our step-father Rubel Ramos passed away in a tragic store shooting in Newark NJ. He went to work on a Sunday morning and will never return home. 

A tragedy, he was working at the store with his our mom and family members when suddenly gun fire came into the store from a shooting outside and one bullet killed an innocent victim, such a good man. 

Rusbel was a loving and a giving soul that took care of his family, friends, and customers. When Rusbel and our mom took over the store just two years ago they became part of the of the community and good neighbors to all. 

Everyone loved Rusbel and he embraced everyone like family. Our family is heart-broken. 

As our family mourns, as the prosecutors are identifying suspects we want to gather and set up a "GoFundMe" for Rusbels children (our step brothers and sisters).

We hope that family and friends will gather at this time to pay it forward and support his children this time as he has done for so many in the past years.
