Ruben Benavidez Cremation & Celebration of Life

It is with great sadness to announce that Ruben Benavidez recently passed on April 13, 2023. Ruben had been in the hospital for 2 weeks where we found out he had end stages of cancer. Even though he was a fighter, his heart could not handle the treatments. He was surrounded by his long-time partner Kim of over 30 years, son Nicholas and daughter-in-law Toni during his passing and will be greatly missed by all.

Ruben served in the U.S. Navy in his early years and dedicated his life to his animals, his partner, his son and his grandchildren.

We are all devastated by Ruben’s passing and were not prepared for the high cost of a Celebration of Life. We want to give Ruben the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last "laters".

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Ruben’s cremation and Celebration of Life. We need to raise $2,500 as soon as possible to give him the Celebration of Life he so deserves.
