Ruben’s Medical & Arrangements
My heart is broken into a million pieces & it hurts even more to have to write this out. Another angel has gained their wings today. My dad, my best friend, my motivation, my everything. He has been fighting covid for over a month & all I can say is this man put on the most impressive fight EVER. He gave it his absolute all and I am so proud of him for that. Words genuinely cannot even express how much I love him. He lived his life to the absolute fullest and he always told me that. He was such a leader, just being around him was motivating. There wasn’t a goal or dream too big for him. He said “Hey I’m going to work hard and go perform in New York”, guess what, he did. He said “I’m going to work hard and perform in Europe”, guess what, HE DID. He is the best damn drummer Houston has ever had the privilege of having & he will forever be a LEGEND! He did what gave him joy & worked his butt off day & night to be the best he could possibly be. He never cared about what anyone else thought, he simply was set on focusing on what would make HIM happy. Honestly, I’m proud of him for always doing what he loved & living his best life. He always told me he never knew how to raise no kids but he was going to always try his best. I couldn’t have asked to be raised any differently. He raised my sister and I… and did it PERFECTLY & BEAUTIFULLY. My dad is my biggest blessing & I thank him so much for being such a great father. He gave my sister and I the best life we could possibly ask for. He’d always say I was his pride & joy, but he’s mines. I was always his right hand & if he was there, I was too. Wether it would be me watching him practice @ Francisco studios, helping him work, being his little band roadie & setting up his drum set. Even recording his performances so he could watch them later
This man has the biggest personality, eyes that could light up a room & a smile that you couldn’t miss from a mile away. He’s beautiful inside and out, so loving and caring. He’s such an amazing father, son, husband, brother & friend. He was so proud of all of his accomplishments but he held the most pride for his family that he built. He has such a loving wife & two kids he gave so so so much love to. My dad gave me so much of HIM. He gave me his time, effort, care, support & unconditional love. I was his biggest support system & he will always be mines. He told me he’d always be on my side through whatever life throws at me, wether I was right or wrong, he’d have my back. He kept that promise. He taught me everything I know, from how to ride a bike, to how to drive a car. He supported all my crazy dreams and goals & pushed me to go even further. I am so proud to call this man, MY DAD ❤️
I love you dad, forever and always.
Your girl, Claudia ❤️
Anything that is raised will go directly to his wife & kids. Money raised will support medical expenses & other arrangements for my father. Anything left over will go directly to his family. We greatly appreciate anything.
