In memories of Rubenia Lucille Vergara Leopold

Heartbroken.

We’ve lost two family members within 13 months.

Robert D Werling on September 30th, 2022, and now Rubenia V Leopold on October 27th, 2023.

Our hearts are sad and heavy as we mourn the loss of our beloved mother, godmother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, in-law, and friend.

Rubenia Lucille Vergara Leopold was a bright light extinguished too soon.

Ruby was 61 years old and still had an exciting life ahead of her with her family and friends.

Ruby was known for her sweetness and professional eye for detail in the Cleaning Industry.

And her love for animals led to a lot of rescuing!

She easily fits into any group setting because of her kindness to others.

Funny and hardworking all her life while raising her son Stephen Glen Leopold Jr.

She was a wonderful person to be around, pleasant and helpful to anyone who needed it.

She loved and adored her friendships and showed nothing but respect towards everyone.

She will be sadly missed by so many of us.

And please keep us in your prayers as we move forward without this beautiful energy and love that she lavished us with.

Being a hard and passionate type of person, when Katrina hit us in 2005 leaving major devastated areas, she returned home immediately to rescue animals lost and hurt before anyone was even let back in to return to their homes.

She helped and brought relief to those affected by the storm.

Her heart was always focused on making a positive impact on those she worked for, no matter how big or small the job was.

Ruby worked in the Housekeeping Industry for decades and continued until her death when she actually was cleaning Commercially and highly respected by her Clients and beloved “Boss”, Adrian Breaux.

We know that her legacy will continue to inspire others too; “make the best of things and do your best”.

She always wore a “SMILE”, our beloved BB.

We're kindly requesting donations of any amount to help us give Ruby the service she deserves.

We understand that the holidays are approaching, and times are tough, but any donation would go a long way in lifting the enormous burden off their shoulders.

We're hoping to raise enough funds to cover Ruby's funeral costs.

Every little bit counts and will have an immense impact.

Ruby was a wonderful and beautiful human being, and it is heartbreaking that she left the world so soon.

But, we can come together to honor her and give her the farewell she so deeply deserves.

Thank you for supporting Stephen and Venessa in this difficult time as they grieve the loss of their beautiful mother and sister.
