Ruby Mae Family Support

Hey all. We are starting this fundraiser for the family and parents of Ruby Mae Holmes.

Many of us know what the journey with Miss Ruby has been like over these last 5 years. Now, more than ever, they can use our help and support. As I get more information about the coming steps, I will update you here.

If you AREN'T familiar with her story, here is a little synopsis.
When Savanna was pregnant, Ruby was diagnosed with Transposition of the great arteries. She needed surgery immediately upon birth. Well, Ruby's little body had different ideas so they spent the first several months of Ruby's life fighting day and night at Doernbecher.
When they were able to make it home, Ruby was on a litany of medications, with lots more visits to Doernbecher over the past 5 years.
Ruby needed a one of a kind heart surgery to give her a few more years of quality life. When they met the doctor im St. Louis last year, it was more risk than reward to proceed. A few weeks ago, the doctor said it was time.
Unfortunately Ruby had a setback. They were admitted at Doernbecher on 10/16. There, they received the news from St. Louis that Ruby was too far gone to receive her procedure.
Now, Ruby is coming home on hospice care with an estimate of just weeks before she passes.

Primarily, we want this fund to be able to support their bills and end of life expenses in the coming weeks and months so that there is little to no worry about having to go to work versus spending time together as a family.

We have set up a meal train to make home life a little more streamlined and stress less.
Please remember that meal train drop offs are not visiting hours unless they tell you otherwise.

If you cannot (or if you can) donate, now would also be a great time to schedule a time to see them all. Time is the best donation.
When donating also remember GFM takes about 8% as a service fee. That said, if you'd rather send cash, check, PayPal, or venmo, please dm me for those handles.
