Ruby's mitzvah project for Paws Crossed

For my bat mitzvah project, I'm volunteering at Paws Crossed Animal Rescue and raising money to support their work with cats and dogs in need of homes. Animals mean a lot to me. I have three cats of my own and had a dog when I was younger. Animals are adorable, cute, and soft, but more than that, they are good company. Being with them always makes me feel better. All three of my cats came from either the street or bad homes. So many animals are without homes, some because they are born on the street and become strays, and others because their humans have lost their homes. I would like to help other animals have loving and safe homes like mine do.
