Rudolfo Anaya Mural in Española, NM

Maya Peña is a 20 year old multimedia artist from Santa Clara Pueblo. She is a graduate of New Mexico School for the Arts and is currently enrolled at Fort Lewis College as a Business and Arts major. Maya has participated in numerous gallery exhibits and public murals. This mural is dedicated to the memory of Chicano author, Rudolfo Anaya. The location of the mural is TBD, but will be in collaboration with the City of Española. 

Proceeds for this fundraiser will go towards supplies and materials for the mural. This includes wall prep, mural-quality paints, brushes and sealant. Any additional funds will be donated as a stipend to the artist to help her with her studies with the coming semester.
