Please help Rudy with his medical needs.

Hi, my name is Cindy and I want to raise funds for my little dog, Rudy. Rudy is a tiny, 5 lb Chihuahua. I found Rudy on the street in Phoenix, emaciated, severly dehydrated and close to death. He was tiny but he had a big will to live and is now 11 years old. That may sound old but is still a good age for a Chihuahua as its not unusual for them to live into their late teens or even 20's. He's an active and otherwise healthy little guy. Recently, Rudy developed a testicular tumor due to an undecended testicle.

While the type of tumor Rudy has is often malignant, it is slow to spread. His Veterinarian says he has a good prognosis if the tumor is removed. Rudy has had initial bloodwork and a full exam and his Vet states he's in good shape for the surgery.

Unfortunately, I am on a fixed income and am unable to pay all of his medical expences in the time it needs to be done. Rudy needs the surgery soon, before the tumor grows large enough to spread or to burst. He may need follow up care after the initial surgery.

Rudy is very precious to me and I don't want to loose him due to lack of funds. Both I and Rudy hope you can help save him. We appreciate and thank you for any help you can give.
