Rueben Royster Jr.'s Memorial Fund

Rueben Royster Jr. was a strong husband, father, and grandfather, who was loved by many. Everyday of his life, he worked hard to provide and support his children, and in the midst of all that, his life ended suddenly on November 15, 2016

He was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure a few years ago and over the last few months, his condition worsened and was constantly in and out of the hospital. Despite his medical condition, he still worked hard to provide for his family. When he wasn't feeling well or had pains, he would still play with his grandchildren, call his family members and do whatever he could to support them. At times, he would even go straight to work right after being released by the hospital. Our dad, was strong even though he had the weight of the world on his shoulders.

On Friday, November 11, unbeknownst to his family, he was brought to the hospital unconscious after enduring a Hemmorhagic Stroke that put him in a coma. He was placed him on life support to stablize him. The next day, after social services tirelessly looked for a relative to contact, they were finally able to reach his wife.

His whole family reunited by his bed side with high hopes only to be devistated by unfortunate news that his life was at its end and to start preparing for death. He had suffered a severe stroke that caused substancial and irreversible damage to his brain.

The cost of a memorial service & funeral, medical bills and other unforseen debts are quite costly and would be a big burden on his small family. We are reaching out to you, our friends, family, and any good smaritan to help his wife and children with the medical expense as well as funeral costs. As you can imagine, this is a very hard time for his wife and family and any help or support you can provide to alleviate some of the financial cost would be greatly appreciated.

Your donation would be going towards his previous and current medical bills, memorial service and any unforeseen debts that his wife Edna Royster may come across. It would mean the world and more to my mother Edna (and the rest of our family) if you could offer a small donation and prayer.

Thank you for your support and love during our time of need.
